Our commitment to our community

As an organisation we recognise the responsibility and the importance of implementing sustainable practices.

We actively work towards creating sustainable and renewable practices in our everyday workflows. We believe that even the smallest step can have the biggest impact. But it extended beyond us. Part of our expectations for suppliers is ISO 14001. We look towards our suppliers and ensure that our vision and sense of responsibility align to aid in creating a better more sustainable practice internationally.

Below are some of our efforts, which will continue to grow:

2024
Introduction of Supplier Selection & Evaluation Policies – Part of the selection process is weighed upon a supplier’s commitment to sustainable practices, such as producing an ISO 14001 certification.
2024
Reinventing our Environmental & Sustainability Policies – We saw the need to reinvent our sustainable practices policy to better align our values and goals as an organization.
2022
Partnership with Medclair – In partnering with Medclair, we aim to create sustainable practices within maternity disciplines. Doing so by removing exhaled nitrous oxide from their carbon footprint thanks to innovative nitrous oxide destruction technology developed by Medclair.
2008
Recycling Programme – Introduced metal recycling programme where precious metals, including batteries, alloys, steel, brass and so on are separated and recycled/upcycled.
2006
Stock Initiative Programme – Where applicable we work towards ordering in bulk 6 to 12 monthly trends to reduce international transport emissions.
2000
Introduced a packing waste management programme – Enabling us to reuse packaging materials when and where available to reduce unnecessary waste. Including pallet upcycling.
